Early Intervention

Through this blog I hope to find out and collate ideas about early intervention for children with literacy difficulties. I aim to store and share links to articles as wellas hopefully finding out the kinds of early interventions that take place in school. There are a wide range of interventions used but many are for children once that are within Key Stage 2 (age 7 and over). What I wish to explore is those that are being used for children in Key Stage 1 (5,6 and 7 year olds). I hope that other will be willing to share ideas and engage in discussions about what works and what doesn't work.
